Outgoing Council members honored

Gooch, Hulehan, Cummings attend their final Council meeting

Simpsonville, S.C. — Three Simpsonville City Council members attended their final City Council meeting on Tuesday night before their terms end this month.

Councilman Matthew Gooch of Ward I, Councilwoman Jenn Hulehan of Ward III and Councilman Ken Cummings of Ward V met with their fellow Council members in Council Chambers at City Hall for the December 2023 business meeting. Gooch, who was elected in 2010 and served three terms, and Cummings and Hulehan, who were elected in 2015 and served three terms, will serve out their final terms through Dec. 31.

The outgoing Council members were provided with gifts as a token of appreciation from the City of Simpsonville for their public service.
